Utamaro, Hokusai e Hiroshige. Geishe, Samurai e la civiltà del piacere

MAO lent the famous Hokusai woodcut "The great wave off Kanagawa (Kanagawa oki nami ura)" and a selection of eight surimono for the exhibition "Utamaro, Hokusai e Hiroshige. Geishe, Samurai e la civiltà del piacere"at the Promotrice delle Belle Arti in Turin from 23 February to 30 June 2023.

The exhibition, curated by MUSEC director Francesco Paolo Campione, is divided into nine thematic sections and the itinerary is enriched by some masterpieces of applied art that will allow users to better perceive the contextual values of the printed representations.
