Four drawings by Giacomo Balla were loaned for the exhibition Futurism & Europe. The Aesthetics of a New World at the Kröller-Müller Museum in Otterlo from 23 April to 3 September 2023.
The exhibition is the result of recent research into the relationships between futurism and other European avant-gardes, such as De Stijl in the Netherlands, Bauhaus in Germany, Esprit Nouveau in France and Russian constructivism. The exhibition and accompanying publication illustrate for the first time the many interconnections between the various avant-gardes.
